15 Minute HIIT/Interval Treadmill Workout for Fat Loss

Hey guys, since it was raining outside, I wanted to make a little video on how to make a treadmill workout fun and quick. The great thing about machines for cardio is that you can make progress in various ways. For example, the better you get, the easier it is to either increase your speed or the time of the workout.

Here is an outline for the workout:

– Set treadmill to desired incline and speed(I have mine at 10 incline and 3 speed, but you can go much lower)

– Warm-Up for 4 minutes or so to get blood flowing in legs

– At the 4:45 mark, put treadmill on desired sprinting speed and allow the machine to “rev up”

Below is just a continuation of what I DID…

Sprint 1: 30 seconds on, 30 seconds rest

Sprint 2: 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off

Sprint 3: 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off

Sprint 4: 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off

Sprint 5: 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off

Sprint 6: 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off

Sprint 7: 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off

Cool down on 3 speed until you’ve reached the 15 minute mark.

DISCLAIMER: Although this cardiovascular activity can enhance fat loss, it is not a substitute for a poor diet. I will explain in further videos. ALSO, START SLOWLY, especially if you are not used to the intensity of the workout. You will progress much more efficiently this way.
