30 Minute Walking Treadmill Workout with Walking Lunges #treadmill #walking #walkinglunges

I’m so happy to share my 5th walking video with you. I hope you enjoy it and get a great workout! Please let me know your thoughts!

Today we’re going to add in some Walking Lunges!!
If you’re unable to do them due to knee issues, etc please just speed walk through them.

This workout consists of:
5 Minute Warm-Up (incorporate more dynamic stretches if you need more)

We’ll be at Incline 4.0 the entire class.
However, do what works best for you. If this is your first time adding in walking lunges, Incline 1 may be best for you. If you’re more experienced you may decide to increase the incline.
I recommend an incline of 3% to 6%. Lower if you need to and higher if you prefer. Please be safe!

Pace for walking lunges: 0.5 mph (Feel free to increase this as you become more comfortable but don’t compromise your form which can happen if the belt is going too fast. I don’t recommend going higher than 1.0 mph unless you’re already used to incorporating walking lunges at higher speeds.

Speed Walk – 1 minute
Walking Lunges – 1 minute
Recover – 1 minute
10 times.
Cool Down & Stretching
It’s very important that you continue to stretch even after the video. If walking lunges are new for you or you haven’t incorporated them in a while you may experience increased soreness. So please get those extra stretches in!

Using a treadmill to change your routine and the intensity of your workout can help you reach new highs in your personal fitness.

Again TreadChic, has been designed for all individuals regardless of your fitness level. It is for the slowest of walkers to the fastest of sprinters. Each participant is given guidelines to determine their speed at the start of class.

I truly believe that we need to help empower one another to reach new and wonderful levels. It is my vision to make sure participants complete each workout feeling challenged and empowered to come back and do it again!

Before I go I want to remind you that during the workouts you will be taking your body above your comfort level. Push yourself but be sensible and please remember that each individual is different. This is your class….you need to work at YOUR level and push YOUR level and not try to compete or try to do more than you’re ready to. We want to make sure we remain injury free so that we can always enjoy working out and making our bodies better. Let’s go!
